Regent’s Park
Not much change apart from, see below.
Garden Warbler: 2 singles in areas 39 & 41.
Blackcap: 15+ present around the park, mainly in areas 31, 39 & 41.
Willow Warbler: 6 around areas 30 & 31.
Chiffchaff: 8 in similar areas to the Willow Warblers.
Nuthatch: this is the best record of the day, a minimum of 3 birds are present the largest number since they last bred in the mid 1980’s. Two birds were calling and chasing each other in areas 30, 31 & 32 and another bird is seen in and around area 41.
Garden Warblers may lack colour but fresh birds in autumn are quite attractive.
