3rd June

Bushy Park

Even though I am out looking for OPM caterpillars virtually all day it is surprising how few birds of interest turn up, today was no different.

Shelduck: a pair flew west over the Stock Yard.

Swift: there has been good numbers feeding above or close to the Stock Yard first thing in the mornings this week.

Cetti’s Warbler: still singing, several times he was in scrub by the Longford River opposite Dukes Head Passage.

Reed Warbler: 4 males singing from the reed beds.

Chiffchaff: a family feeding along Dukes Head Passage.
