Regent’s Park

Woodcock: one was reported today.

Jackdaw: one seems to have taken a liking to the park. It possibly visits Hyde Park also as I have seen it heading low in that direction.

Siskin: one flew over.

Richmond Park.

Grey Heron: possible 4 nest are occupied, one has already got chicks.

Great crested Grebe: 5 were on Upper Pen Pond, the resident pair were trying to chase off the other birds. 2 were a pair who were displaying, until rudely interrupted.

Stonechat: 2 females were on Lawn Field.

Reed Bunting: 6 males and 4 females were on Lawn Field.

The island on Upper Pen Ponds cannot accommodate many more pairs.
