Richmond Park
I was working in Richmond Park today, tagging some of the Oak’s. It was fairly quiet on the migrant front, apart from;
Sparrowhawk: 2 males in different parts of the park.
Rock Pipit: one flew NE over Pen Ponds at 7.10am.
Chiffchaff: 2 birds were singing.
The sun comes up in Bushy Park
Heron’s on Pen Ponds
Mandarins were investigating potential nest sites near Pen Ponds.
2 pairs of Tree Creepers were in Pen Ponds Plantation.
Female Great spotted Woodpecker
