Regent’s Park

I didn’t spend much time in the park but the areas where the more interesting birds can turn up were quiet.

I did however see:

Wigeon: pair still present.

Shoveler: 24 on the banks of Heron Island.

Mandarin: 26 on the islands on the main lake.

Chiffchaff: 1 was with a tit flock in area 23.

This Jay was on my woodpecker feeder in the garden.

The family of Moorhens below have acquired the taste for gull crap. Surely the lake has something better than that.
