Bushy Park

The floods in the Brewhouse  Meadow area are slowly shrinking back. It is however still attracting a few ducks, though not any Teal. Nearly all the birds prefer the flooded woodland.

Mandarin: 16 birds present.

Shoveler: 1 with the Mallards.

Mallard: 66 birds, the most that I have seen in the 2 years I have been here.

Common Buzzard: a distant view of the Brewhouse bird.

Water Rail: 2 birds calling from the flooded area of scrub by the Longford River.

Redwing: 70+ on the western side of the park.

Reed Bunting: 5 birds feeding in the reed beds in the Brewhouse Meadow area.
