Regent’s Park

Common Buzzard: one flew high SW at 3.10pm.

Common Swift: one this afternoon flew SW at 3.14pm.

House Martin: 4 over.

Northern Wheatear: 2 males and a female this morning, the males moving to the fenced off rugby pitch in area 41 in the afternoon.

Reed Warbler: 3 present; 2 in area 2 and another in the Wetland Pen, area 32.

Blackcap: 14+ around the park.

Common Whitethroat: 2 birds in area 31.

Chiffchaff: 5 birds possibly on territories.

Willow Warbler: 3 present.

Lesser Redpoll: 2 over.

Bushy Park:

Common Buzzard: one mewing, that sounded as if it were coming from the Woodland Gardens.

Peregrine Falcon: a male flew through the Woodland Garden (Fishers Field) at 7.30 am.

Common Snipe: one on the Scrape.

Common Swift: 2 flew leisurely south this morning.

Barn Swallow: at least 14 around the park.

Sand Martin: one feeding over the bracken with Swallows.

House Martin: two birds from Hampton flew over the Stockyard.

Lesser Spotted Woodpecker: a bird was heard in the Woodland Gardens before relocating to the Round Plantation before then sneaking away.

Northern Wheatear: 3 males and a female south of Oval Plantation.

Siskin: one flew over.

When this bird looked up and then the other I new something was worrying them. Sure enough at a very great height was a Buzzard.

While watching the Common Buzzard this Swift flew beneath it.

Peregrine Falcon departing the Woodland Gardens. I only popped into the gardens in the hope of hearing a Wood Warbler.

3 Swallow N, 22 Blackcap (25+ likely territories occupied in past ten days), 4 Siskin still - flying low N past Hill 06:30.
