1st March

Regent’s Park.

Things seem a little quiet at the moment, hopefully we will soon have a warm weather system move up from Southern Europe.

Thanks to Birdman-Euston for still getting out and about. Time is running out for him to get a Med Gull, I am sure he wont let us down.

Little Grebe: one on the main lake.

Great crested Grebe: 2 off of area 8.

Shoveler: 14 present.

Sparrowhawk: 2 birds present.

Water Rail: one still in the rail ditch, area 2.

Lapwing: one circled above the lake at 8.20am.

Redwing: one was seen, where is our usual flock.

Siskin: 12 birds in the Cricket Pen.
