19th May

Regent’s Park

Not a very productive day in the park, pretty much the same as yesterday and probably much of last week.

Common Tern: a pair were on the lake during the early morning, before heading off to Brent Reservoir.

Swallow: 2 flew west at 6.45am.

Grey Wagtail: one flew from area 13 towards Baker Street.

Pied Wagtail: 2 juveniles were on the grass and posts in area 9 hawking insects.

Reed Warbler: I could only manage 4 singing males this morning.
